Hey there leos :)
Just dropping by to let all of you know that I have FINALLY set up a photo album for all the pictures. However, to date, I've only posted up pictures for two events which are the National Day Visit to Rumah Kasih and LEO Games.
Will put up more pictures this weekend on past projects (:

Time : 9am-11am
Venue : SMK Assunta
Person involved : Orphans from Rumah Kasih + Leo club of Assunta
First of all, excuse my grammar error if there is any down the post...Here am I to post about the Leo Games we had today...!
8.30 in the morning, we were in school getting ready to pick the orphans from Rumah Kasih in SS3.. Bernice and I did that "fetching" job..
At 9am, we arrived as planned!
Ice breaking session is always a yes-yes..We introduced ourselves and the day begins with a morning exercise conducted by PearlyNg! Well, she had some unique and weird moves for us to follow during the activity..I am not surprised so shall you because she is one of our school's cheerleader..!
We followed obediently and did what she did..Then, another type of "weird" exercise conducted by Deborah and I which goes like this....
Left, left, left right left...
Let me see you *insert the action*
What do you say?

What do you say?
I say Oooo Ahh Ahh Ahh Oooo Ahh Ahh (while doing some funny actions)
It's time for our station games after that..A game planned out skillfully by PeiSan, Daarshawnee and other Leos (taking every precautions into consideration as this game involves KIDS!) Say Cheese! A group picture was taken before we begin..!
The games that the leos set up......

Very Pening perhaps? That's the fun of it...

Break time
Getting the kids to line up for the next activity, Tug-a-war..Honestly, it was hard to get them seperated because they are too 'sticky' to certain people...
Finally, seperated into two groups...
This one...........

US OVERALL!
To summarize this post up, it was a blast although there were only a few Leos who turned up..I am happy and glad to spend my Saturday morning in school, putting smiles into everyone's faces because to me.........
"The happiest thing in life, is the satisfaction of making other people happy"
With that, we fulfilled our motto *we serve* as a LEO today!
ROAR ROAR ROAR!

A NATIONAL DAY CELEBRATION IN RUMAH KASIH!!!!
On the 29th of August 2008, the Leo Club of S.M.K. Assunta visited Rumah Kasih. The visit was held to celebrate our National Day with the kids. At 2.00 p.m. we left school by chartering a bus. We got lost on the way, but managed to get to Rumah Kasih at around 2.45 p.m.
Our first activity was ice-breaker. We had to introduce our name, age and hobby. The kids were very shy at the start, but soon they became more sociable with the Leos. Next, we played newspaper dance. Each of the Leos held a kid and danced along. It was really fun dancing with all the kids.
After that, we went outside to play “hitting with the baton”. Everyone laughed as they had to choose to be an animal character at the start of the game. Everyone had fun. After playing this game, we proceeded back into the house to play an interesting game. We were required to pass around a basketball. Whoever who caught the ball when the music stopped was required to act out the animal chosen and then she would get a MAMEE Monster!!!
At around 3.30 p.m., the kids and the Leos painted a Malaysian flag. It was a very unique way of painting it as the kids were required to paint their hands and then pasted their hands on the Malaysian flag to produce hand prints with colours of red, blue and yellow.
Then, at 4.10 p.m., we had a photography session with the kids while carrying the Malaysian flag. The picture was very nice as everyone had a smile on their face. This shows that each and every one of us enjoyed the activities held. It ended at 4.15 p.m. and we had to wave our goodbyes. That was the hardest moment as we, the Leos, had to leave with heavy hearts. We headed our way back to school and it was a trip of happiness and satisfaction.
