Last General Meeting before Installation '09

Good day dear Leos :)

As stated above, this will probably be the only GM that will be held before our install the following week ( 10th July ).
So, its crucial that you attend this meeting in order to be updated about all new and upcoming projects and most importantly our INSTALLATION.

Details of the meeting are as following:

Date : 3rd July 2009 (Friday)
Time : 1-3p.m.
Venue: Bilik Kuliah
Meeting Chairperson : Jaishree Nagarajan

House rules:
1. Attendance is compulsory

2. Punctuality must be observed. Late comers will not be
allowed into the meeting room.

3. Please dress appropriately. Leo t-shirt is a must.
shorts and track bottoms are not allowed.


Those who are absent from this meeting without an appropriate reason or those who fail to abide by the rules above will have to face the consequences.

TURBULENCE AHEAD

Feeling honoured to be the first to pen my feelings here although it's hard to express my feelings through words =D

So, where should I start since there are way toooooo much to talk about my experiences being in Leo..(Just so you know, I was partially forced by Bernice to do this - since this will be my last note in our newsletter, shall I put this long or short?)

Well first of all, I would say Leo Club of Assunta was a BLAST!

I had lots of fun..Not only that, but also experiencing things I've never experienced before..

Let's say, staying over in the jungle?

Kayak?

Playing with the orphans?

Carol for the old folks?

Bath the animals?

And the list goes on...etc.etc.etc.

I've learnt to work the hard way, I've learnt to adapt with changes, I've learnt to build my self confidence, I've learnt to organize myself and I've learnt to make new friends..

There are so much to learn in Leo that you wouldn't want to leave Leo FOREVER! Unfortunately, nothing is permanent in life..It's time to leave this club. I've fulfilled the motto "We Serve" to "I Serve" for the entire fiscal year.Or should I say, for the past 3 years! I had gained so much that I would definitely share my experiences with my children in the near future with much pride being a Leo.

Without any further delay........

Hey there Leos :)

It's been long since this dear bloggie of ours have been updated, so I shall do the honours :)

the first night : Superhero Night.

The Leo Club of Assunta Secondary School have recently returned from the 308B2 Multiple District Leo Forum 2009!

the second night: Gala Night.

Our club sent a total of 25 delegates to attend this annual event hosted by the Penang Leo Clubs (Region 3) held from the 5th of June 2009 to the 7th of June 2009. It was a very memorable leo forum for all the delegates! From the little mishaps (electric cuts, unable to do the special project etc.) to the ROARING LEO ASSUNTA SPIRIT! We are proud to say, the Leo Club of Assunta Secondary School made their presence KNOWN :)
