Joint Charity Carnival Bazaar!
There will be a Joint Charity Carnival Bazaar organised by the Leo Clubs of Region 4 and sponsored by Metropolitan College.
Date : 21st March
Venue : Metropolitan college
Time : 10.00 a.m - 5.00 p.m
The main objective of this bazaar is to raise fund for the Resource and Education for Autistic Children (REACH) and the
Sight First II Campaign. There will be food,games,performances and SO MUCH MORE! Please do not hesitate to attend and give your support to this meaningful event. Your support is very much needed! So bring your friends, family and fellow Leos along too!

BLIND LEADING THE BLIND (PART 2)
The Lions Club of Petaling Jaya has successfully organized “Blind Leading the Blind” Charity Walk over the last 6 years. Due to popular demand and encouraging response over the year, we are embarking on the 7th Charity Walk this year.
As the sponsoring Lions Club, we are indeed glad and grateful that our sponsored Leo Club have continuously supported us in making the event a success through fund raising and participation on event day. In order to further reward your club, the committee this year has decided to integrate an inter-club competition as part of the Charity Walk.
The purpose of this competition is to encourage more participation of Leo members, friends and family members to join us in creating awareness and visibility to the plight of the blind.
The respective Leo Clubs are encouraged to design banners, posters, distribute flyers or even compose songs to parade along the 3km journey. The prizes for this competition shall be as follows:
Champion: RM400 + Challenge Trophy
First Runner-up: RM300
Second Runner-up: RM200
Third Runner-up: RM100
Certificate of participation will be awarded to all Leo members who take part in the walk (Participating Leo Presidents will need to assist in coordinating the namelist).
We look forward to seeing your club participate in large scale this year. See you there!

City/Town: Petaling Jaya, Malaysia
In view of overwhelming support from the public, we are embarking on the 7th Blind Leading the Blind Walk, on the 19th April 2009 which also takes place in MBPJ Civic Hall. The blind or visuall impaired will lead the sighted but blindfolded on the three kilometre walk, thus giving the sighted the opportunity to experience blindness, to value sight and to appreciate teamwork; to have fun and of course raise the much needed funds.
We appeal to all you able bodied and sighted to donate generously and participate in this walk. Your donation in time or money big or small will be much appreciated. Cheques can be made to "Petaling Jaya Charity Foundation". Individual donations of RM200 and above can be issued with a receipt for tax exemption upon request.
Come and enjoy the walk!

In collaboration with all schools from Region 4
Leo Club Of Assunta will be setting up a booth for SUSHI and also "henna and manicure"..Anyone here knows how to do simple Sushi? Or if you think you're good in art, do see me, Wen Yuin from 5sc2!
Yeah, we really do need lots of manpower on that day..Those who are interested, please leave your comment in the chatbox..Will put up a notice about this soon!
