This project started at 8:30 A.M and it was held in the Gallery of SMK Assunta. Every attendee paid RM10 for the lunch and study materials. Before starting to learn about first aid, we played some games as in ice-breaking session to know more about each others.
Around 9:30 A.M, the speaker of this First Aid Course who is Leo Tay Wen Yuin from Leo Club of PJI started explaining. We learnt a lot example like what are the equipments we need in the first aid kit, primary survey, actions at emergency, types of wound, basic treatment, sport injuries, heat injury, nose bleed, choking and fainting.
Before lunch, we did a quiz based on what we have learned and we were separated to few groups. We were assigned to do a short drama about what we have learned. We had our lunch at the canteen of SMK Assunta. Then, each group did their short drama and we all had fun participating in it. After that, we learned about Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation which is CPR.
Then, the speaker announced the winner for the quiz and also the winning group of the short drama. Lastly, we all took group photos and this event successfully ended. It was a very fun project as we get to learn more about first aid and we get to meet new friends too.
