Christmas Charity Bazaar!!

Hello Everyone :)

Christmas Charity Bazaar is our club's annual project and this year we are organizing it jointly with the LEO CLUB OF LASALLE KLANG.


What is the bazaar about?

Christmas Charity Bazaar is an event where all kinds of Christmas gifts and ornaments are sold for charity. The gifts are obtained from the donation of Leo Club members and through sponsorships from various gift shops/factories.

The gifts will then be left for sale throughout the duration of the bazaar. Shoppers who wish to donate their money for a good cause during the festive/holy season will purchase the items at our stall.

This year, we are going to have face and nail painting services at our stall! We'll probably have sand art and sell some cupcakes too. So, all you leos who are good at face and nail painting, you gotta come and show us your talent. Your skills are needed for a good cause!

All proceeds from the bazaar this year, will be donated to "Rumah Kids" in Klang :)


What are the objectives of this project??

1. To promote the importance of being charitable during the festive season to the community.

2. To help purchase Christmas gifts for the less fortunate children.

3. To expose participating Leos to a working environment as they convince shoppers to purchase the gifts that are being sold.

4. To reach out, remember and share the festive joy with the less fortunate.

5. To do charity in an unusual, but good way.


So fellow Leos, all you have to do is come and support this bazaar by providing manpower. We need 3 Leos per shift, everyday. 3 hours per shift.

Details:

Date : 18th, 19th & 20th December 2009

Time : 10am-10pm everyday

Venue : Subang Parade


Shifts for the 18th, 19th & 20th :

1. 10.00am - 1.00pm

2. 1.00pm - 4.00pm

3. 4.00pm - 7.00pm

4. 7.00pm - 10.00pm

* Last shift on the 20th is the 3rd shift (4pm - 7pm)

On the 20th of December from 4.00pm - 7.00pm will be the closing ceremony for this project which will also be held at Subang Parade. The money collected from the bazaar will be donated to "Rumah Kids".A short caroling session will be held to spread the joy of the festive season.

All those who have helped out during the christmas bazaar (whichever date or shift) are required to attend the closing ceremony.
