A Report on the ‘Food for Charity’ Funding Project

On the 9th August 2010, a ‘Food for Charity’ project was held at the cafeteria of the Assunta Secondary School. 7 Leos were involved in this project. We sold spaghetti during interval, which was from 10.30a.m to 10.50a.m. The purpose of this project was to offer a different type of food to the students and also to raise fund for the club.

At 10.20a.m Leo Florence, Leo Suet Yee and Leo Lillian Toh set up a stall at the cafeteria. Our sales increased when the form 4 and form 5 students came down for recess. We promoted our spaghetti to the students and many of them were interested in buying our food. At 10.50a.m, we packed and cleaned up the area as recess had ended.

Eventhough we were given 20 minutes to sell our food, we managed to raise RM50.00. Without cooperation, we will not be able to reach our target. This project had not only been successful, but it taught us to work together as a team. Thank you.
