The event started off with the munching down of food and of course what's Mid-Autumn Festical without mooncakes? As everyone settled down and filled their hungry stomachs, each person received two boxed of candles. Everyone started lighting up the candles and played with the Frisbees. Later on, we were required to form a group with Leos from other schools and had to name our group along with a group cheer.
We carried out a group activity where we had to see who lights up their lanterns the fastest. Although a few lanterns were burnt in the process, everyone still finished what they started. Using the lanterns that we lighted up, we had to go around the whole school looking for moon stickers with different points written on the back. But there's a catch, there were also stickers with negative ponts which we had to deduct from the overall score.
The night ended around 9.30pm with a traditional Chinese song lead by Carmen Cheong. In a nutshell, the night was fun and enjoyable as we got to celebrate this festival with our Leo family. Everyone had a great bonding time and it was a whole new experience for those who haven't celebrated Mid-Autumn Festival before.
