On the 14th of August 2015, 25 Leos attended the Interact Club of SMK Assunta’s Annual Installation. Before the opening act, the National Anthem was sung followed by the Friendship Song. They then began the roll call, where every school showed their spirit as loud as they could. Speeches by the Rotarians and by the Organising Chairperson, Int. Zabrina Asha Raj were given.
First performance was given by the Treble Tones, a singing trio. A wonderful performance was then given by the newly-installed Interactors followed by a multimedia presentation. The Form Five Interactors received certificates for their contribution and dedication to the club. The outgoing Board of Directors 2014-2015 then gave their jobs to their successors and the New Board of Directors of fiscal year 2015-2016 were installed. Then the outgoing president of ICSMKA 2014-2015 gave her speech followed by the Incoming president of ICSMKA 2015-2016’s speech.
A fantastic performance was given by the newly-installed Board of Directors accompanied by special performances from talented Assuntarians. Souvenirs were given to the schools that participated in the event. The event ended with the Viva La Interact song sung by all the Interactors present. Overall, it was an amazing and highly-enjoyable event. Congratulations to the newly-installed Interactors and Board of Directors! We wish you a great year ahead! ROAR!
