On
the 3rd of March, the Leo club of SMK Assunta had a small project to redecorate
the club’s notice board. 8 Leos and probationers took part in this project. We
gathered at the lawn at around 1:30 p.m.
Then,
the Leos were divided and assigned with their respective work. Some of them
were in charge of drawing and cutting out the letters, ‘L’, ‘E’, ‘O’ on the
colour papers. Some of them helped to remove the old decorations from the board
and also to redecorate the board. At around 3.00 p.m., we were done
redecorating the notice board. Before we left, we cleaned the area and made
sure rubbish were not left behind.
Through this project, we learned that teamwork
is very important as if a person does something alone, that person will need a
longer time to finish doing it. But if a group of people decides to work
together, that assignment will be done in a much shorter time. We had fun
taking part in this project.
