On the 19th of March 2016, 4 Leos had participated in the District 308 B2 Leo Quiz 2016 that was held in Kampar, Ipoh. A total of 8 teams from every region had participated in this quiz. The quiz began with a written test, where the Leos were required to answer 30 multiple choice questions and 10 structure questions based on Leos, Lions, and general knowledge. 2 teams were then eliminated before proceeding to second round.

In the 2nd Round, each team were required to draw lots and were given a number together with a question. The teams were then given 100 seconds to discuss the answer amongst themselves before a representative from each team was sent to answer the question in exactly 100 seconds. Additional questions were also given by the judges. It was then down to 5 remaining teams.

In the 3rd Round, the teams were given a blank piece of paper to write down the answers of 30 structure questions that were displayed on a screen for only 10 seconds. A team was then eliminated, with the remaining 4 teams making it into the finals. In the final round, the teams had to have the speed and agility to answer the questions as they were required to press a buzzer before they answered. The points from the previous rounds were then accumulated in total.

The Leo Club of SMK Assunta had managed to clinch the position of 1st Runner-Up while the 2nd Runner-Up was the Leo Club of Ave Maria Convent and the Champions being the Leo Club of Sam Tet. Overall, the event was highly-successful and exciting though intense. We had gained valuable knowledge as well as new experiences throughout this event. It was an honour for us to be one of the two teams to represent Region 5 in this Leo Quiz. We would also like to congratulate the Leo Club of Sam Tet and Leo Club of Ave Maria Convent.
