On the 7th of February 2013, the Leo Club of SMK Assunta presented the school teachers and staffs with a small goodie bag of Chinese New Year gift. Even though it was a small gift, but a lot of effort was put into it.
Around 5 members helped out packing the gifts on 6th February, Wednesday afternoon after school. It took 3 hours to finish packing 120 gifts. The pouch bags were filled with oranges, handmade fish angpau packets filled with sweets and also handmade bookmarks. With the help of a few Leo members, the gifts were distributed smoothly.
The smile on the teachers faces upon receiving the gifts made us feel that our hard work was worth it. We hope to carry out this kind of activity in the future.
